About The Go Summit
The Go Summit is a dynamic one-day event designed to equip, empower, and commission the body of Christ to be disciples who make disciples. Through powerful speakers, an engaging panel discussion with Q&A, and an impactful breakout session, attendees will gain biblical insight and practical tools to strengthen their faith and walk boldly in their calling.
As led by the Holy Spirit, we are kicking off this summit in Chicago and launching the #ChicaGO initiative—encouraging the body of Christ in Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana to GO and answer the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:19: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.”Whether you’re new to discipleship or looking to deepen your impact, The Go Summit will challenge and inspire you to live out your faith with confidence. MEET THE SPEAKERS
Kristian Black is a pastor and leader at Anthem Church, where he's passionate about spiritual growth, emotional health, and practical discipleship. He's committed to creating spaces where people can heal, grow, and experience the presence of God in everyday life. Kristian lives in Northwest Indiana with his wife Gabrielle, and in their downtime, you'll often find them playing video games together.
Dr. Christin Thorpe is a church strategist, sociologist, and Director of the Thriving Black Church Initiative for Our Daily Bread Ministries. With a DMin, MSW, and deep roots in the church, her work bridges research and real-life faith to help Christians flourish. She brings authenticity, vision, and hope to churched, unchurched, and de-churched communities alike. Her voice is one the Church needs right now—clear, compassionate, and rooted in both scholarship and Spirit.
Lloyd Colar III is a devoted disciple of Jesus Christ with a heart that beats for evangelism. As the Director of Outreach at his church and an active minister, Lloyd is passionate about equipping others to share the gospel and lives out that mission daily—whether in the pulpit or at the grocery store. With over two decades of marriage and the joy of raising four children, Lloyd’s life reflects a deep commitment to faith, family, and the call to make disciples. At The Go Summit, he brings real-world insight and spiritual fire to help others boldly live out their faith in everyday life.
Briana McCarthy is the founder of The Brilliant Tribe, a ministry committed to equipping believers to live boldly and purposefully for Jesus Christ. She holds a Master of Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary and teaches regularly at her local church. Briana has been given a clear mission from the Lord—to equip the church—and she fulfills that call by writing practical discipleship resources and hosting impactful events that encourage the Body of Christ to live out the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:19: “Go and make disciples.” Through her leadership, passion, and creativity, Briana is inspiring a generation of believers to be disciples who make disciples.
